The Aviators airs on broadcast television with a weekly U.S. audience of over 9.3 million viewers. The series airs in Canada on Travel & Escape, and is one of the network’s top-rated shows. The Aviators is also an international hit, airing in over 100 countries, mainly on the Discovery Channel. The first episode of season 3 skyrocketed the series up the charts on iTunes, landing it in the #3 position, just behind The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and ahead of titles like Top Gear, The Colbert Report, and Mythbusters.

The website was being viewed by thousands of visitors every day. It needed to be redesigned to be engaging, and it needed to be mobile-friendly. Users visiting the site on their tablets and smartphones, while watching the show, was a big design consideration.
WordPress, e-commerce, and big mobile success!
The website is fully responsive and mobile-friendly. It features a Members Area and an online store, including an integrated shopping cart (much better than the previous PayPal experience), and the client is able update the website using WordPress. Plus, Google Analytics shows us that one-third of all website visitors are using mobile devices. So responsive redesign was a smart move!
